Biotech Lab does not perform testing for oil, radioactive or heavy metals (other than lead), and pesticides. Those seeking analysis of these contaminants are referred to VELAP Certified Environmental labs (Virginia Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program). We provide sterile containers for bacteriological testing and necessary paperwork with instructions so you can collect a sample and drop it off at our Chesterfield, VA location (call for details). If you prefer, we can refer you to business clients who can, for a fee, collect and deliver the water sample for you and provide follow-up assistance should the test fail.
